Interested in doing business with the State of Maryland as a Certified Small Business (CSB)? This informative T.I.P.S. Small Business Webinar walks you through the certification process and shows how to compete as a prime contractor within Maryland’s Small Business Reserve (SBR) and Small Business Preference (SBP) programs.
Approximately 30% of all open state-funded solicitations are designated for the SBR Program. In addition, the SBP Program offers pricing advantages to certified businesses, including:
Up to 5% base price preference for CSBs
An additional 2% for certified Veteran-Owned Small Business Enterprises (VSBE)
An additional 3% for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSB)
